Information on us! The Railway Tavern is situated in the heart of Kelvedon, Colchester, Essex. Barry and Sue Hatton have been the licensees for the past twenty years and have built up a successful mix of tradition and modernity. At the Tavern you will find a great range of real ales, wines & spirits to compliment an extensive food menu.

The Tavern has plenty of facilities including a large car park, a 42 seat restaurant, cosy snug room and main bars.

A great feature of the Tavern is its riverfront location and al fresco eating areas. The river Blackwater is full of wildlife and the water is as clear as the beer.
